CO2-Monitor

Klick in the picture for detailed information.

Indoor air quality is a measure for the quality of air in interiors.

Objective measured variable of the air quality is the

carbon dioxide (CO2). This color- and odorless gas is breathed

out by humans. The CO2 outdoor concentration varies between

260 ppm (parts per million) in clear air regions and

700 ppm in cities.

The recommended maximum indoor concentration value of

CO2 is 1000 ppm, the limit value for offices is 1500 ppm.

A good indoor air quality in offices and classrooms is an

important factor, in order to guarantee effective working

and learning. Above a carbon dioxide content of 1500 ppm

tiredness and lack of concentration arise.

To keep the indoor concentration of CO2 under the limit value,

purposeful ventilation is necessary. In order to avoid unnecessary

losses of energy thereby, it is important to know room air quality.

With the help of our CO2-Monitor it is possible to seize the

degree of room air quality visually fast and simple. The

equipment is supplied with a plug power pack and can be

installed at any point in the area wich may be supervised.

Owing to the assigned infrared measurement principle the

equipment is maintenance-free working and is stable against

drift features. Differently than with electro-chemical sensors

the infrared cell does not have to be exchanged in regular

intervals. It is ideally suitable to receive information about

air quality for years.
